These terms apply when you buy from, or sell on, 1cartbd. By placing an order or listing a product you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1cartbd is a marketplace. Products are sold by independent vendors. We list their products, take your order, arrange delivery and handle payment. The vendor remains responsible for the goods themselves.
All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown before you confirm your order.
An order is confirmed once the vendor confirms the item is in stock. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will cancel that item and refund anything you have already paid for it.
A cart containing items from several vendors may arrive as more than one delivery.
You can pay cash on delivery or online. For cash on delivery we ask you to verify your mobile number once, to prevent fraudulent orders. Delivery staff collect the exact amount shown on your order.
Delivery is carried out by third-party couriers. In line with the Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines, we deliver within 5 days where you are in the same city as the seller, and within 10 days elsewhere in Bangladesh. Most orders arrive well inside those windows, and the estimate shown at checkout is the one we work to.
If nobody is available to receive the delivery, the courier will attempt contact. An order that cannot be delivered is returned to us.
You may cancel an order any time before it is dispatched, at no cost.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, contact us and we will arrange a return. Where a refund is due it is paid within 7 days, by the same method you paid with, and we cover any transaction charge.
Returned goods should be unused and in their original packaging where the nature of the item allows it. Perishable goods and items sealed for hygiene reasons cannot be returned once opened, except where they are faulty.
Keep your account details accurate and your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
We may suspend an account used for fraudulent orders, repeated refusal of cash on delivery parcels, or abuse of our staff or delivery partners.
Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and legality of their goods, and keeping stock levels current. Listing something you cannot supply causes a cancelled order and may end the arrangement.
Commission, payment terms and settlement timing are set out in the separate agreement signed with each vendor.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Beyond that, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you place your order.
